Job Role:
We are looking for a
Junior Designer
who is passionate about their craft, someone filled with the desire to make things better, who is constantly looking to improve themselves and always ready to solve a problem. We love teamwork, collaboration and laughter. We work hard and expect that person to do so too. Being part of a great team who wants to do amazing things and execute accordingly.
Responsibilities:
Design
graphic elements, basic animation, and layouts based on creative briefs and direction.
Prepare
design mock-ups and present concepts to relevant stakeholders for review.
Obtain
final sign-off and approval on all creative work before production.
Collaborate
with brand managers, copywriters, photographers, and other designers on projects.
Adapt
and roll out approved concepts across various above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) media.
Design
and update sales proposal decks and presentation materials.
Execute
amendments and corrections on existing artwork efficiently.
Create
final art (FA) source files and ensure correct file management.
Maintain
familiarity with client and company brand guidelines and past assignments.
Ensure
all artwork is technically correct (format, size, colour codes) before delivery to print or production facilities.
Develop
and deliver engaging designs for digital channels, meeting technical specifications.
A Tertiary qualification in DTP/Graphic Design.
1 - 3 years
professional experience in a design or DTP role.
A strong, well-rounded portfolio showcasing individual design aesthetic and finished artwork (must be current/up-to-date).
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
Working knowledge of related hardware (Apple Mac).
An understanding of Finished Art principles and basic motion design/animation.
