We are currently seeking a Junior Designer to join our confined labels team at Boxer Superstores. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the establishment and execution of brand rules across all confined label designs. Collaborating closely with the NPDT team, Printers, and repro houses, the Junior Designer will align Boxer confined label designs with brand guidelines and commercial strategies, ensuring uniqueness within the market. Key responsibilities include incorporating new brand concepts, overseeing creative work across brands, and executing designs in accordance with provided Design Briefs, label details, and packaging grids. The role involves prioritizing designs based on guidance from the NDPT, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and managing multiple projects with adherence to timelines. The Junior Designer will play a vital role in maintaining accurate packaging grids, designing unique visual concepts exclusive to Boxer, conducting market research, and ensuring the correct rollout of brand rules on existing designs. Additionally, the role requires consistent delivery of creative designs, adherence to budgets and timelines, and effective communication of design concepts to the NPDT team. The Junior Designer will also be responsible for maintaining an updated database, creating designs based on printer specifications, generating 3D renders, and producing Brand Rule Books, Point of Sale designs, and unique brand videos as required. Minimum Requirements

• 1xe2x80x932 Years experience in print design
• Experience working on a MAC Computer
• Have a good understanding of flexography and lithography
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must have a valid licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a solution oriented approach
• Deadline driven
• Attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
External Designer is responsible for ensuring that brand rules are established and executed across all Boxer confined label designs.
External Designer will be required to work closely with our NPDT team, Printers and repro houses to ensure that Boxer confined label designs align with Boxer brand guidelines and commercial strategies. Ensuring that new brand concepts and end products are unique to Boxer Superstores, while understanding the leading designs in trade and oversee a high level of creative work across brands.
Design Briefs, label detail and packaging grids will be provided by the NDPT according to the product specification, tier and brand. This shall ensure that the brand message is executed on the design, keeping it in line with the brand rules.
Prioritizing of designs and guidance will be provided by the NDPT what is required when and deliverance must be in accordance to timeline agreed to below. The job function will entail functioning closely with NDPT team, Suppliers printer and repro house to ensure from product development to end product on shelf executes 100%.
Main Objectives of the Role:

• Ensure the packaging grids are correct
• Design visual concepts which are unique to Boxer
• Conduct Market Research regarding the Product and category in respect to the competition as required.
• Incorporate brand rules on existing designs and ensure correct roll out
• Complete design projects on time and within the designated budget agreed.
• Collaborate and Communicate design concepts to NPDT team
• Time-manage multiple projects and update the NPDT team on progress
• Consistently deliver creative designs that allows us to stand out in the market.
• Ensure all artwork is correct and is supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent out to external parties.
• We Transfer of files brief sheet to be included to the print on colors etc. as previously supplied.
• Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
• Maintain Old & New Database with the most updated versions and make the team aware if there is any original files not received
• Create design based on printer specifications.
• Create 3d renders as required
• Create Brand Rule Books and keep updated with the latest design files
• Create Point of sale designs as required
• Create unique brand videos
