Junior Cybersecurity Engineer â?? Network Security (firewalls)

Key Responsibilities

Provide client support through daily operational security tasks
Monitor the service desk/ticketing system and respond to incidents and requests in a timely manner
Perform change management activities, including logging and documentation
Create and maintain firewall policies and conduct regular health checks
Deliver first-line troubleshooting for firewall-related issues
Participate in incident response activities and escalate issues when required
Attend and contribute to team and client meetings

Required Skills & Experience

Some hands-on experience working with network firewalls
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow in a cybersecurity role

Desirable (But Not Essential)

Experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls
Relevant cybersecurity or networking qualifications (beneficial but not required)
