Our London-based property management company is looking for a
Junior Credit Controller
to join our growing team in South Africa. In this remote role, you will support our London office by managing your own small portfolio of accounts and assisting with the recovery of outstanding payments from leaseholders. You will also provide support to a Senior Credit Controller across a range of credit control functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage administrative tasks for your own portfolio of client accounts.
Learn and apply the credit control process to support successful debt recovery.
Respond to client and leaseholder queries via phone and email, including on behalf of your senior.
Assist with setting up and monitoring payment plans for your accounts and for those assigned to your senior.
Escalate non-compliant accounts or irregular payment behaviour to your senior.
Maintain accurate records on our internal management system.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to seek approvals for solicitor referrals on overdue accounts.
Participate in monthly review discussions with your senior credit controller.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Credit Control Administrator or in a similar finance support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and apply credit control procedures effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel essential).
Reliable internet connection to support remote/hybrid work.

Salary:
R16 500 per month
Working Hours:
9am to 6pm (SA time), Monday to Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break
Leave:
15 days of annual leave plus South African Public Holidays

Applicants must be based in the
Cape Town/Winelands area or nearby
, with the ability to attend occasional in person meetings in
Stellenbosch
. A stable internet connection is essential, particularly during periods of loadshedding.
