Junior Cost Accountant
Job Description
Job Summary JUNIOR COST ACCOUNTANT DUTIES - Drafting of Costing Sheets for New Clients. - Updating of existing Costing Sheets for current Clients as specs change. - Maintain Costing Sheets in line with R&D Procurement and Production changes. - Quarterly costing updates for Client Price Lists. - Flag GP changes as changes are picked up. - Liaise with Procurement Department on pack, price and supplier changes. - Liaise with Research & Development Department on formulation changes. - Ensure that all Bill of Materials are accurate in all aspects. - Update product selling prices on SYSPRO. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE - Figure oriented. - High level of accuracy - Analytical - Detail-oriented - Organised - Problem solving abilities. - Adaptability - Confidentiality - Time management skills - Work under pressure - Understanding of accounting principles - SYSPRO or similar ERP system experience - Manufacturing environment experience EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Grade 12 - Accounting Diploma - 3 years costing experience in FMCG manufacturing environment. - MS Office computer literate.
