Job Description
The Junior Copywriter is responsible for creating and maintaining the tone of the various divisions within the Weylandts brand, through all copy touch points.
Original copy will need to be created for social and digital content, e-mailers, catalogues, website, range cards, tags, product descriptions, print, billboards, in-store installations and B2B brochures. It is crucial that the successful candidate understands the vision of the different divisions for execution.
This position will be based in Greenpoint, Cape Town.
Key responsibilities:
Maintaining a consistent 'tone' for Weylandts brand and other divisions in all marketing communication/ touch points Producing effective copy for e-mailers, social media platforms, digital advertising, and web. Execute on conceptualised ideas provided by the creative team for social media and other digital campaigns Producing copy for product on the Weylandts website Drafting brochure copy for and social media for the Business Solutions division
What you bring:
2+ years' experience in social media and copywriting (agency or brand). Strong digital knowledge and willingness to learn new platforms. Understanding of retail and decor trends (or a keen interest to develop this). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
