Solareff is seeking a
Junior Control & Instrumentation Engineer
to join our innovative engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in thedesign, development, and commissioning
of control systems forcommercial and industrial PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), and micro-grid projects
.You will work alongside experienced C&I engineers and project engineers, contributing to real-world projects while developing your technical and professional skills in a high-performance renewable energy environment.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum Pre-requisites:
B.Eng. Electrical and Electronic
, orB.Eng. Electronic
, orB.Sc. Engineering
(in a relevant discipline)0-1 year of experience
(some experience incontrol or automation
fields will be advantageous; related fields will also be considered)#
Required Skills & Competencies:
Experience (professional or extracurricular) in
designing and implementing P and PI controllers
Strong proficiency inC / C++ / C# programming languages
Foundational knowledge ofPLCs and PLC programming
Understanding ofthree-phase power systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment#
Additional Beneficial Skills & Competencies:
Experience with
Siemens S7 PLCs
and theSiemens TIA Portal
environment Experience usingRESTful APIs
Familiarity withSolar PV systems
andenergy management
Understanding ofIoT (Internet of Things)
applications and integrationDuties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Control & Instrumentation Engineers in
designing, developing, and commissioning
control and monitoring systems for PV, BESS, and micro-grid projects. Support theintegration and testing
of PLC-based control systems. Collaborate with project engineers to understand system requirements, constraints, and design implications. Conducttechnical research
and assist insoftware development
for internal R&D projects. Compileengineering reports and documentation
in support of C&I project delivery. * Take ownership of smaller projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
