Control And Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description
Job & Company Description: As a C&I Engineer, youll be responsible for the setup, calibration, programming, and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems on industrial and mineral processing equipment. Youll work closely with the electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration, support project rollouts, and deliver high-performance control systems both in the workshop and on-site.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in control and instrumentation (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols
- Strong fault-finding, wiring, and panel-building skills
- Willingness to travel locally and cross-border for commissioning
- Be part of a well-established South African OEM
- Work on large-scale, custom-built industrial machinery
- Multi-disciplinary exposure in a growing, project-driven team
