Junior Compliance Auditor
Job Description
An opportunity exists for a Junior Compliance Auditor to join a structured, compliance-driven organisation. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to governance, risk management, and internal control enhancements within a regulated business environment.
Due to our clients'' Equity Plan, preference will be given to African males. Fluency in isiZulu is non-negotiable.
You will ideally have a solid foundation in internal auditing, ERP systems, and data interpretation, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management. This position suits a professional with 3+ years of internal audit experience who thrives on identifying risk, ensuring adherence to internal policies, and making practical compliance recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen (non-negotiable)
- National Diploma in Internal Auditing or similar (minimum)
- 3+ years experience in an internal audit role with ERP experience (Syspro)
- Solid experience within an operational manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of IIA SA Standards and auditing methodologies
- Solid understanding of risk, governance, and internal control processes
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation
- Experience in the petrochemical or regulated industries
- Forensic auditing experience
