Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) - Tankwa KarooCSV is currently seeking to add a Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) to its team of professionals for a contract position.JUNIOR CIVILS FOREMAN (EARTHWORKS) - CONTRACT (to start ASAP xe2x80x93 13 December 2024)SITE LOCATION: TANKWA, KAROOJob Summary:The Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) is responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the work of their subordinates in the excavation and hauling of materials to create the ideal base for construction works. The Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) will ensure that works are completed as per project programmes, within the set timeframes and to the correct quality standards.Duties/Responsibilities:Assist in managing and controlling all aspects of earthworks on SiteCreates schedules and assigns general and daily tasks to subordinatesEnsures that all resources (people, plant and materials) are scheduled, planned and or ordered timeously as per Company protocols and processesSupervising and mentoring construction workers assigned to the work areaEnsures that records are completed accurately xe2x80x93 daily diaries, HSE paperwork, attendance registers, order forms, amongst othersLiaises with all project stakeholders, internal and external client representativesEnsures safety standards and guidelines are followedTroubleshoots routine issuesPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read drawingsIn-depth knowledge of construction industry and processesExcellent organisational and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving skillsEducation and Experience:At least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Junior Civils / Earthworks ForemanAdditional Requirements:Must have a clear criminal record (Client Requirement)Must have a valid drivers licenceMust be medically fitTo apply for this position, please send a detailed Curriculum Vitae to recruitment@csvconstruction.com.Please note that all placements will be made in accordance with Company Employment Equity Policies and Practices.Given the volume of CVxe2x80x99s expected, should you not receive a call within 2 weeks of application, please consider your application unsuccessful.Closing Date: 9 February 2024Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryApplication Question(s):Do you have at least 5 years experience as a Junior Civils / Earthworks Foreman?Do you have a clear criminal record (Client Requirement)?Do you have a valid drivers licence?Are you medically fit to work on Site full day?Are you able to work in Tankwa, Karoo for the duration of the contract (from Feb 2024 - 13 December 2024)?You would be able to go home during R&R Weekends but would need to be able to commute easily to Site daily, inclusive of some weekends.
