My client is a recognized industry leader known for its expertise in hydraulic and industrial hose services. It offers on-site hose replacement and repair solutions, serving multiple sectors such as construction and manufacturing. Their focus on maintaining the efficiency of hydraulic systems makes them a trusted partner in the industry.
Deliverables of this position involves thorough supplier analysis for price, quality, and delivery standards. It includes entering price lists into the ERP system, negotiating cost savings, and ensuring precise purchase order data entry. The role also encompasses evaluating new suppliers, maintaining the Active Supplier List, expediting critical deliveries, and monitoring order status. Effective communication between suppliers and internal departments is a key aspect.
The incumbent will be reporting into the General Manager.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- Bcom - Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience as a Junior Buyer
- Experience in the Engineering / Industrial Sector, especially with Hydraulic/pneumatic hoses, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and Pivot tables
