Description
The Junior Barman will assist in the preparation and service of cocktails, wines, and beverages while ensuring that the bar area maintains the highest levels of cleanliness, organization, and guest service. You will play an essential role in creating a memorable experience for every guest who visits the bar or restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and restock supplies during and after service.
• Ensure correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation standards.
• Follow standard recipes for consistency and control of costs.
• Provide recommendations to guests and ensure prompt, friendly service.
• Assist with inventory and bar-related administrative duties.
• Support senior bar staff with cocktail preparation and service efficiency.

Salary: Market-related

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 and relevant hospitality or bartending certificate preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a luxury restaurant or hotel bar.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Well-presented, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
