A Telecommunications company is looking for a skilled Junior Backup and Recovery Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Failover Clusters, Hyper-V, and storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
• Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with teams to ensure comprehensive backup coverage and compliance
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation for backup systems

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven experience in enterprise-level backup and recovery engineering
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft clustering and virtualization technologies
• Hands-on expertise with SAN/NAS storage and mainstream backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and cloud-based backup solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; relevant certifications preferred
