• Interact proactively with guests, ensuring exceptional service and meeting their needs.
• Train and uphold quality standards for restaurant staff while overseeing performance.
• Facilitate effective communication among the team, Restaurant Manager, and guests.
• Coordinate between front-of-house and back-of-house staff for smooth collaboration.
• Efficiently manage staff rosters and oversee stock management.
• Perform daily cash-ups and liaise with other departments and suppliers as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Undertake administrative duties such as record keeping, uniform orders, email processing, and guest communication.

Requirements:

• Formal Hospitality qualification
• Proficiency in both written and spoken bilingual communication.
• 2-3 years of prior restaurant management experience or equivalent in the hospitality industry, ideally at a similar high-end, luxury establishment.
• Comfortable interacting with a distinguished clientele.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverages, dietary requirements, as well as bar and wine offerings.
• Exceptional team management and training skills.
• Impeccable presentation and a customer service-focused attitude.
• Rapid learning capability, with a commitment to mastering the menu within one month of employment.
• Flexibility to work during restaurant opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to foster professional relationships across all departments.
• Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and enthusiasm.

• R16,000 + gratuities
