Leading manufacturer of hollow-core slabs and precast structural elements, dedicated to providing innovative and high-quality solutions for the construction industry. With a strong commitment to excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement, we are looking to expand our team by adding a Junior Accountant to our Durbanville office.

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the company. You will work closely with our senior finance professionals and gain valuable experience in various aspects of accounting and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Performing bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis.

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.

Collaborating with other departments to gather financial data.

Assisting with tax compliance and regulatory reporting.

Participating in audits and assisting auditors as needed.

Supporting senior accountants and finance managers in various financial projects and tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Previous internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus but not required.
