Job Summary About the Role
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with prior experience in the construction or contracting sector. You will support daily financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and assist with project-based accounting requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and ledger entries
- Support monthly reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash
- Prepare and organise supporting documents for audits and reports
- Assist in payroll preparation and expense tracking
- Coordinate with the finance team on site-related accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations
- Proven experience of 3+ years as a Junior Accountant in the UAE construction/contracting industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Monthly salary: AED 4,000 AED 5,000
- Exposure to accounting operations in large-scale construction projects
