civil engineering and construction company
to recruit a detail-orientedJunior Accountant / Assistant Financial Manager
.This role offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic construction environment, while working alongside a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Process journals into
Sage Evolution
and/orBuildsmart
(payroll, depreciation, asset acquisitions). Maintain theFixed Asset Register
andInstalment Sale Register
. Supplier account maintenance - invoices, discounts, processing support. Daily bank transaction processing &cash reconciliations
. Assist withaudit preparation
and provide supporting documents. Monthly SARS submissions (VAT, EMP, Income Tax
). Supplier application and compliance documentation.Requirements
Diploma/Degree in
Accounting/Finance
(advantageous). 1-3 years' accounting experience. Prior experience inconstruction / civils
(advantageous). Knowledge ofSage Evolution
/Buildsmart
(beneficial). Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals. Well-organised, accurate, and punctual. Own reliable transport (office-based role in Stanger).How to Apply
