Our client in the Foodservice Equipment industry is currently looking for an Assistant Financial Manager, in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation, review, and presentation of management accounts.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly profit and loss statements.
• Support the preparation of the annual budget.
• Process month-end accrual and provision journals.
• Review bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations.
• Review and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile all inter-company loan and trade accounts.
• Maintain and oversee the company fixed asset register.
• Review and upload payments on the banking platform.
• Assist with managing monthly cash flow projections.
• Prepare the year-end audit file and support the Financial Manager during the audit process.
• Support overall management of the finance team.
• Prepare VAT payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and process tax payments.
• Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
• Treasury responsibilities including Fleet card and credit card management.
• Prepare intercompany reporting.
• Responsible for financial reporting on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) projects.
• Ensure accuracy of the fixed asset register.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
• 5 - 7 years of direct work experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the Foodservice, Manufacturing, or related industries.
• Proven experience ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

• R40 000 - R50 000 per month.
