Job Description

A fantastic Opportunity for a Go-getter, detailed orientated and attention to detail individual. The Ideal candidate will be able to Travel to Contermanskloof / Durbanville, be able to undertake basic financial accounting transactions, Understand the principals of capturing on an accounting system and provide support to the Financial Manager.



Key responsibilities :



- Capturing from Bank Statements onto Accounting system
- Allocate transactions and perform Journal Entries ensuring correct Postings.
- Compile, reconcile and submit Third party Payments such as Provident Funds, Bargaining Council deductions, Union Deductions.
- Assist with Payroll where required / Payroll related Reports and recons.
- Manage Petty Cash and Staff Claims
- Handle Supplier profiles, Requesting and Colating B-BBEE certificates
- Assist with Month End Management Accounts
- Procurement and Inventory

Requirements :



- Tertiary Qualification
- 1 - 3 Years Experience in Similar Role
- Efficient in Accounting System (Quickbooks / SAP / Xero )
- Experience with Google suite
- Attention to detail with high level of Accuracy
- Able to work independently and part of a team.
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry / MEIBC council is advantageous.
