Job Description

We are looking for an experienced mid-level IT Systems administrator/web developer to join our marketing team. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to combine their analytical skills with cutting-edge technology.
The ideal candidate should be able to manage all search engine optimisation and online marketing activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our company's website, as well as managing other online systems. In order for you to succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in Shopify, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and have solid knowledge and experience in programming applications. The ideal candidate should be able to manage all SEM campaigns on Google in order to maximise ROI.
The ideal candidate must have:
4-8 years' experience
Knowledge in computer related subjects such as information systems, web development or computer science fields is strongly preferred
Proven SEO and SEM experience, managing PPC campaigns across Google
In-depth experience with website analytics tools
Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications such as Shopify JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Dedicated team player.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
Able to solve complex problems.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required
Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Research and analyse competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
