Job Description

IT Vendor Management required in Centurion, on a hybrid working model (3 days in office) for a 12-month contract within the telecommunications industry. This role is required to manage the IT Infrastructure and Operations budget, including recording, tracking, and reporting actual spend. The role involves reviewing supplier invoices, providing accurate spend forecasts, and managing IT procurement and contract management practices. The specialists will facilitate contract performance, relationship, and risk management, perform contract operations oversight, manage relationships with IT suppliers, and maintain a contracts repository. They will also maintain a calendar of contracted deliverables, drive supplier innovation and cost reduction, lead sourcing activities, provide performance reports, identify problems, develop solutions, and enhance efficiency.Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the IT Infrastructure and Operations budget.
• Record, track and report actual spend against contracts and budget.
• Review supplier invoices for accuracy and approve/reject as appropriate.
• Provide accurate forecasts of spend, total cost of ownership, and contract cost to complete.
• Review and authorise all IT-related spend items.
• Manage the IT Procurement and Contract management practice.
• Facilitate procedures for contract performance, relationship, and risk management.
• Perform overall contract operations oversight for performance management including benchmarking and SLAS.
• Manage relationships with IT suppliers for cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain a repository for contract management and vendor relationships.
• Maintain a contracts repository.
• Maintain a calendar of important contracted deliverables.
• Drive supplier innovation, cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Lead or partake in sourcing activities.
• Provide periodic reports on performance against plan.
• Proactively identify interconnected problems and develop alternative solutions.
• Continuously identify areas of improvement to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
• Experience in IT contract and finance management.
• Internal FFIL certification (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of IT Financial Management practices.
• Data analysis, modelling and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies and processes.
