Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Midrand for a Junior Technician. The Junior Technician will be responsible for building, upgrading PC's and laptops, supporting and maintaining IT hardware and networking systems, assisting with data recovery services, and ensuring seamless operation of servers and storage solutions. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, installing and configuring hardware, and providing support for data migration, archival, and other IT-related activities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to best practices in IT service delivery will be key aspects of this role. The role requires being in the office 8AM-5PM Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of IT hardware, servers, and storage solutions. Familiarity with networking concepts, SAN, NAS, and backup systems. Data recovery, digital forensics, and data migration knowledge is beneficial. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical support skills. Effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions. Relevant certifications or a diploma in IT (A+, N+ Etc), Networking, or related fields is advantageous.

Pay: R9000,00 - R19500,00 per month
