OmTalent is looking for reliable, tech savvy and well spoken individuals to work as an IT technical support agent at our operations centre based in Woodmead, Sandton. You will be required to assist our clients with technical IT issues via the phone as well as on our backend systems. Problem-solving and technical skills are essential. You would be required to work at our offices in Woodmead, Sandton. The shift is from 3pm - 12am Monday - Friday. This is a contract position for an initial period of 2 months. Salary - R13 500.00 per month Please do not apply for this position if you do not meet the following requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role
• Proficient in Microsoft Technology such as servers, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint and OneDrive
• Strong comprehension of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
• Clear understanding of cybersecurity best practices (defence-in-depth, zero trust security)
• Networking such as pfsense, Sophos Firewalls and VPN
• Public Cloud such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience supporting Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2019
• A Microsoft Certification will be advantageous
• A+ and/or N+ certification will be advantageous
• A Degree / Diploma in IT or Informatics will be advantageous
