Job Description
IT Systems Analyst (Permanent) Western Cape/Hybrid
Our client requires the services of an IT Systems Analyst to interpret business requirements and design, develop, and implement software and integration solutions using structured analysis, design, and testing methodologies.
Required Education
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related ICT field (BTech acceptable)
- Design software solutions according to business requirements
- Develop, test, and maintain ICT systems
- Manage key client and stakeholder relationships within the ICT environment
- Lead and mentor team members to achieve project goals
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience with ICT technologies
- Experience in the healthcare industry, working with healthcare systems and datasets
- Agile development processes
- Integration standards: HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON
- Systems analysis, design, and gap analysis
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) modeling
- Systems integration and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) knowledge
- Web-based technologies (e.g., C#, Java)
- Healthcare systems knowledge
- System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) understanding
- Database proficiency: SQL, IBM i DB2, or Cache
- Productivity tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
