IT Solution Architect/Designer - GautengIntroductionAs a Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for designing integrated solutions to cater for our clients' requirements. You will design the systems as well as oversee the implementation in order to meet user requirements. You should have good skills in application, integration, data and process design.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a diverse background in delivering business value using technology. As a consultant solution architect we require an individual that is able to adapt quickly to new and varied project environments and provide meaningful and valuable contributions at all stages of the project lifecycle, includinghigh level conceptual solution design,detailed level solution design,solution requirements verification,defining solutions optionscollaborative selection of optimal solutions and transitionssolution implementation and issue resolutionCompetenciesAbility to develop/understand business modelsAbility to do high level system solution designsAbility to extract, structure and document solution analysisPresentation skillsAbility to map the proposed business solution onto architectural frameworksAbility to function well under pressureAn options thinkerFacilitate or lead meetings, teams, or work groups to encourage participation, build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among participantsAbility to consult management and engineering/development teams with technical advice.
