- Managing site IT infrastructure.
- Registering incidents, escalating, trend and root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Maintaining IT tasks, installing, configuring and trouble shooting of hardware and software.
- Managing IT continuity.
- Facilitating and governing the IT Projects on site.
- Ensuring the IT Services address the changing business needs.
- Developing and maintaining training plans for the site IT Teams as well as encouraging continuous learning.
- Ensuring ongoing site compliance to Glencore IT policies, procedures and legislation.
- Relevant Degree.
- Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the IT environment.
- Understanding and working knowledge of IT Support Delivery.
- Ability to take decisive action and assume responsibility for making difficult decisions that affect people and business performance.
- Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.
- Ability to inspire and foster commitment, pride and trust amongst team members by taking a democratic approach, seeking and valuing contributions and encouraging collaboration.
- Ability to treat diverse groups of people with respect and to effectively employ this diversity to the advantage of the Company.
