It Server Specialist
Job Description
A vacancy exists in the IT Department for an IT Servers Specialist/Server Engineer in servers and that will assist the IT Manager with various IT related duties KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Availability and accessibility of data information required on time and in the future Security and Systems Health monitoring Maintenance, Patching and Upgrades of ICT equipment Compliance of relevent laws, regulations and contractual arrangements Delivery of IT service through processing of data by application and support systems processes Ensuring the safe-keeping of data, security, disaster management plans and availability of systems and software Advanced trouble shooting and configuration of ITC equipment QUALIFICATIONS BSc : Computer Science and Information System or BTech xe2x80x93 Information Technology Industry Certification ( Mcse, VMware, SQL ) WORK EXPERIENCE Five years of relevant experience in a ICT environment Three years Data Centre experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS Quality orientated with attention to detail Good decision making and Organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and as an intregal team member Great interpersonal and Communication skills essential Required to work overtime as and when required. Taking initiative and being innovative Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation Honest and integrity Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
