6 month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Western Cape, South Africa- Onsite
Reports To: PMO Manager, in America
International agribusiness company focusing on trading and grain processing worldwide
Essential Criteria for consideration

• 5-7 years managing large-scale, complex IT projects (System and infrastructure upgrades, new system integrations etc)
• Bachelors in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and related methodologies.
• Proficiency in project tools like MS Project, Asana, Trello, and MS Office
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, resources, and risk strategies.
• Lead execution, monitor progress, and adjust as required.
• Conduct status meetings and report to stakeholders.
• Manage and allocate resources including personnel, budget, and materials.
• Resolve resource conflicts for optimal utilization.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Maintain and manage project risk registers.
• Manage project budgets and track expenditures.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Maintain thorough and accessible project documentation.
• Lead post-project evaluations and implement improvements.
• Mentor junior managers and promote team collaboration.

Additional Skills preferred

• Fluent in English plus a relevant second language (French is an advantage.)
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to adapt to priorities and work independently or in teams.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications preferred.
