IT Intern

at MSF Southern Africa, you'll play a vital role in supporting our team's technological needs, ensuring our staff can focus on delivering life-saving care. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills, and make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do




Provide stellar support

: Be the go-to person for staff, troubleshooting network, hardware, and software issues with a smile.

Solve tech challenges

: Assist in diagnosing and resolving computer, internet, and network printer problems.

Set the stage

: Help set up video conferencing systems (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Starleaf, Bluejeans) for seamless global collaboration.

Keep things running

: Monitor backups, manage antivirus updates, and ensure systems are secure and efficient.

Organize and innovate

: Log tickets, maintain equipment inventories, and assist with creating new user accounts and email lists.

Contribute to our mission

: Take on diverse projects and tasks to support our dynamic team.



Who We're Looking For





We're seeking a motivated individual with a passion for IT and a heart for humanitarian work. Here's what you bring:

Qualifications & Skills




A National Diploma or Degree in IT, networking, or a related field. Familiarity with computer network cabling, file/print services, and Office 365 platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. No prior experience required - just a strong interest in IT and a desire to learn! Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms is an added advantage.

What We Offer




Monthly Stipend

: R5,000.
