Job Description
The Field Service Agent is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for end-user IT systems and infrastructure. The role ensures minimal disruption to business operations by delivering high-quality technical service, adhering to ITIL standards, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site installation, configuration, and support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Escalate complex incidents to higher support tiers in line with escalation procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Support IT service delivery processes in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Maintain accurate service documentation, including incident reports, asset records, and configuration details.
Coordinate with vendors or third-party service providers for hardware repairs and replacements when required.
Deliver excellent customer service through timely communication and problem resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:
CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
ITIL Foundation V3 certification or higher.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support or field service experience.
