Job Summary
Our client based in Claremont is hiring an IT Developer.
Key Purpose of the Role:
The IT Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of the OWLS system. The successful candidate will develop and maintain SQL reports and templates, resolve system and business issues, and provide end-user support. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex SQL reports and OWLS system templates.
• Perform unit and system testing for OWLS changes/enhancements.
• Analyse and resolve system issues effectively.
• Provide training and guidance to users, handling queries as needed.
• Conduct operational monitoring and reporting of OWLS.
• Manage security and user administration of business applications.
• Assist with IT audits and quarterly security reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business alignment and service delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• A 3 to 4-year IT-related qualification (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
• Advanced training in SQL programming.
• Minimum of 5-7 years' IT experience, including:

• Strong exposure to SQL programming and database systems.
• General IT knowledge (e.g., Windows, Excel, FTP).
• Experience in large, complex systems support.
• Exposure to financial or insurance business environments is advantageous.
