Position Overview

A US-based investment company is seeking a high-energy, growth-oriented professional to spearheadour presence in South Africa. The core of this role is sales, networking, and high-touch relationshipmanagement. We are looking for a "people person"--someone who thrives in the market, builds instantcredibility with high-net-worth individuals, and is driven by the goal of expanding our investor footprint.While the role currently includes overseeing existing investment structures, this administrativecomponent is a temporary baseline intended to transition to a dedicated support hire as the SouthAfrican office scales.

The role is primarily focused on revenue generation, investor acquisition, and market expansion. Whilecertain administrative responsibilities exist during the initial phase, the position is fundamentallycommercial in nature and intended for experienced professionals with a long-term background ininvestment sales and relationship-driven business development.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Engagement & Market Growth (Primary Focus)

Networking & Lead Gen: Proactively build and maintain a robust network of high-net-worthindividuals and potential investment partners.

Strategic Introductions: Identify new prospects and facilitate introductions for senior leadership todrive capital inflow.

Brand Ambassadorship: Increase investor responsiveness and engagement through consistent,proactive outreach and high-level communication.

Relationship Management: Act as the primary local point of contact, ensuring investors feelsupported, informed, and confident.

Investor Relations & US Coordination

Bridge the gap between our US-based team and South African investors to maintain asophisticated and consistent brand voice.

Manage the distribution of reports and performance updates, ensuring transparency andprofessional standards.

Interim Structure Oversight (Scaling Phase)

Temporary Administration: Manage the essential filings, renewals, and documentation for existingtax and investment structures during this growth phase.

Liaison Work: Coordinate with external lawyers, accountants, and service providers to keepstructures compliant in the background.

Evolution of Role: Establish the administrative workflows that will eventually be handed off to anoperations hire as you focus more exclusively on business development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R700000,00 - R1000000,00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Johannesburg, Gauteng
