Job Description

Data Analytics:



Analyse inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.



Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track inventory levels, stock movements, and demand fluctuations.



Collaborate with Sales and Procurement to ensure optimal stock ordering and availability.



Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.



Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to improve inventory efficiency.



Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources.



Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.



Design and maintain database structures and tables to support data analysis.



Track and report on key inventory KPIs (e.g., stockouts, excess inventory, shrinkage, inventory accuracy).



Apply knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server to optimize database operations.



Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system data.



Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and conduct root cause analysis of inventory errors.



Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.



Maintain a high level of organization with a strong focus on data quality and reliability.

Stock Consignment Control



Coordinate with Sales Representatives (CS) to conduct weekly/monthly consignment stock counts.



Accurately capture and process consignment stock data on a weekly/monthly basis.



Engage directly with CS's to resolve stock-related issues at hospital sites.



Ensuring timely distribution, completion, and return of monthly consignment check documentation.



Uphold high standards of data integrity and accuracy.



Support the invoicing department in addressing hospital consignment stock discrepancies.



Assist CS with hospital stock rotation as needed.



Reporting & Administrative Functions:



Compile relevant information for the Manager:

Operations, for presentation to the Board Operating Committee (e.g. Stock Consignment Checks, Soon to Expire Report).



Generate and distribute predicted short-dated stock reports to the CS's.



Produce and deliver high quality reports to internal and external customers using SAGE Evolution and Access (SLOB, LEVELS etc.).



Maintain organised and up-to-date filing of consignment check documentation.



Policies and Procedures



Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.



Apply innovative thinking to enhance and improve existing policies and procedures.



Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory analysis, supply chain analytics, or a related data analyst role.



Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Data Analytics, Business Statistics, or a related field will be advantageous.



Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SQL programming.



Advanced Excel skills, including dashboard creation and the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.



Experience working with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAGE Evolution).



Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Automate and others.



Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python or R.



Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.



Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
