Job Summary
A leading manufacturer in the glass and laminates industry is looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator with strong SAP knowledge and a solid background in inventory management to join their team in Springs, GP. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with at least 8 years' experience who can take ownership of stock control, ensure accuracy across inventory processes, and support efficient production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily inventory operations within the production environment
Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely stock replenishment
Monitor and report on inventory variances, investigating discrepancies
Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow
Generate and analyse inventory reports using SAP
Support cycle counts and full physical stock takes
Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years' experience in inventory or stock control, ideally in a related manufacturing industry (e.g. glass, laminates, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems
Solid understanding of production workflows and materials management
Proven ability to manage and resolve inventory discrepancies
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and liaise across departments
