Job Description
- Participate in the National Department of Agriculture Funded Project
- Together with the Project Manager, contribute towards projects, by compiling and executing project's technical activity plans.
- Participate in site visitations, data capturing and adhere to proper data quality control protocols.
- Assist in preparation of specifications for required technologies including Solar PV, Wind turbines, Hydro and other energy systems.
- Assist in compiling and managing project purchases.
- Compile detailed technical reports and submit for review and approval.
- Utilise and maintain facilities, apparatus and equipment.
- Participate in sectional meetings, seminars and workshops.
- Ensures compliance with OHS and Safety Procedures.
- Relevant BSc Honours in Energy studies or equivalent qualification (with intent to pursue further studies, i.e. master's or doctoral).
- Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainable technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A valid driver's license will be an added advantage
