ORV (in Prieska, Northern Cape) is a leading manufacturer of high-quality animal feed, focusing on ruminants. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable
individual to join our team as a Factory Animal Nutritionist/Scientist and Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct research on animal nutrition and feed efficiency via our test facility.
- Evaluate and improve existing feed formulations for optimal performance via ORV Farm.
- Analyse the nutritional content of raw materials and finished products.
- Quality management.
- Management of a team.
- Degree in Animal Science or equivalent qualification; education in logistics, supply chain management, as well as management experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours.
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and feed formulation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
