LED Lighting SA

is a design-led lighting company specialising in advanced LED technology. We develop and manufacture both standard and custom lighting solutions, servicing the architectural, rail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

We are looking for a candidate to join our dynamic team in Sales team in our Johannesburg Office.

Responsibilities might include, but not limited to the following focus areas:

Order Processing:

Manage and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Work closely with the supply and distribution teams to coordinate product shipments and deliveries. Ensure all order details are correct and coordinate with relevant departments for order fulfilment. Monitor order status and provide timely updates to the sales team.

Customer Service:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. Provide product information, pricing, and availability. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.

Sales Support:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing quotes, sales reports, and presentations. Maintain and update customer records and sales databases. Track sales performance and provide regular updates to the sales manager.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability. Assist in managing backorders and communicating with customers regarding delivery timelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain sales documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, credit applications and contracts where applicable. Generate regular sales reports for management review.

Coordination:

Liaise with various departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Coordinate with the marketing team to support promotional activities and campaigns.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve internal sales processes and customer service. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications, Competencies and Attributes

Tertiary Qualification in relevant field (Advantageous) Proven experience in a sales support role Experience in lighting and manufacturing environment (Advantageous) Must be Computer literate Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills Excellent time management skills Excellent attention to details

Preference will be given to previous lighting experience in the retail and projects avenue.
