We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as an Internal Sales Representative in the scientific consumables sector. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, generating sales leads, and providing excellent customer service. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to existing and potential customers to promote our range of scientific consumables.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations.
  • Identify sales opportunities and generate leads through research, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Proactively engage with customers to provide product information, quotes, and resolve any queries or issues.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to stay updated on market developments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Achieve or exceed set sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on customer preferences, market trends, and any opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the scientific consumables sector or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific laboratory equipment and consumables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and convert leads into sales.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
