Internal Sales Montague Gardens R12,000 R15,000 per month

Job Purpose

The main purpose of the job is to assist the sales representatives with the administration and internal side of sales which include accessing the system (Line 500), drawing up quotes for exports, prices and delivery dates, processing orders for customers and ensuring that the correct paperwork is collected and filed, ensuring that the correct stock is kept in our warehouse and that customers are satisfied with our products and services.

  • Principal Accountabilities:
Check for stock availability and pricing:

Access the system internally in order to see what stock is available for a customer and the price of that specific product.

Compile quotations for customers:

Compile quotations to provide customers with the pricing and availability of products throughout South Africa and the UK.

Process Orders for customers:

Process orders for customers when they are satisfied with the quotations and ensure that the correct stock is supplied. The system is also able to remove the stock that was purchased in order to avoid quoting customers on products that we do not have in stock.

Invoicing:

Invoice customers once their orders are processed to ensure payment is made.

File the correct paperwork:
  • Ensure that the right paperwork is stored for the companys records.
  • Receipt shipment
Ensure that there is stock available for our customers:
  • Place stock orders on a regular basis to ensure that the seals required by our customers are available at our branch.
Ensure that products are distributed to customers:
  • Ensure that our drivers are ready and able to deliver the products within a reasonable period to ensure customer satisfaction.
Health and Safety Awareness
  • Ensure work area and surrounding stations are safe and comply with the minimum requirements.
  • Overseeing or carrying out of all AES safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper working conditions of dangerous machinery and equipment.
  • Report all SHEQ incidents, accidents, near misses and participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses.
  • Ensure all SHEQ inspections are done unless there is a designated, SHE Rep.
Qualifications:
