The aim of this position is to facilitate the sale of company products to businesses affiliated to the green industry (Botany) in and around the Western Cape area.
The incumbent will also aid local walk in customers and other sales staff on site.
Travel to CT once a month to visit clients.

Plan and execute approved calling sales cycles relevant to your area.
Sales cycles must include but not be limited to telephonic contact, email contact, sales visits and businesses support visits.
Support and aid other agents/representatives with regards to product availability , information, ordering so as to reach set targets.
Plan and execute visits to relevant areas and clients.
Plan and support clients at their businesses and functions.
Facilitate quotes for transport , collecting and drop off of products.
Follow up on clients orders ,deliveries and issues in necessary
Assist walk in customers on site. (In house sales )
Ensure relevant budgets for region are attained.
Help with relevant sales order capturing , quoting and invoicing process and administration of ground control for your and other areas.
Client communication
Assist all customers and representatives for your area by phone , WhatsApp groups and email.
Assist with sending our client communication internally and externally.(Out of stock , truck schedules, notices etc)
Manage Tablet relevant to the area , WhatsApp number and E-app for your area.
Product Knowledge
Ensure your knowledge of floor product remains current and updated.
Ensure you have a good knowledge and understanding of plant and hardware products with particular knowledge of but not limited to attributes, water requirements, pests and diseases etc .
Be equipped and confident to walk nursery on a cycle if necessary to compile Availability lists and other plant lists.
General Office Admin
Attend in house daily and weekly meetings.
Submit regular reports and communication as required to department for calling cycles and client feedback
Assist other departments with administration but especially during high season(i.e. sales orders, KG reports, invoices ,credit notes, answering phones)
Help with sales order capturing , quoting and invoicing in needed.
Assist Sales department with budgeting for your area.
Help all departments facilitate Spring Open day and other relevant functions.
Assist with LVG processing and ELZ management as needed.
Qualifications and experience
Matric
5 year + in a similar role and industry xe2x80x93 Sales FMCG / Nursery / Agriculture
