What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Campaigns & Messaging
Design and implement company-wide internal communication strategies aligned with business priorities
Drive the rollout of key narratives, ensuring strategic themes, values, and purpose are embedded across the employee journey
Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership on communication needs across departments
Executive & Leadership Engagement
Manage and deliver high-impact executive communications and engagement events, including leadership town halls, webinars, and enterprise updates
Craft executive messaging and manage approval workflows
Collaborate with People & Culture leadership to support the broader people strategy
Cultural Storytelling & Engagement
Reinforce company culture through tailored touchpoints--virtual, digital, and in-person
Develop creative content and campaigns that capture and celebrate the employee experience, from major events to day-to-day moments
Align cultural initiatives with business objectives and elevate flagship moments
Employee Communication
Oversee the internal comms calendar and coordinate all enterprise-wide communication activities, including change initiatives, recognition programs, wellness campaigns, and more
Create and maintain a portfolio of content templates and visual assets for consistency
Champion employee-first storytelling and clear, engaging messaging across channels
Employer Brand & Content Creation
Co-create content that amplifies the organisation's employee value proposition (EVP) and brings the brand to life internally
Produce impactful copy, visuals, and video content in partnership with design and content vendors
Support talent attraction and retention by strengthening the internal alignment to the employer brand
Frameworks, Innovation & Governance
Keep a pulse on industry trends and bring fresh ideas to communication tools, technology, and frameworks
Ensure internal communication aligns with brand guidelines and compliance standards
Lead crisis communication planning and responses when needed
Stakeholder Management
Foster strong partnerships across departments, including Marketing, HR, and external partners, to ensure a cohesive and integrated communications approach
Maintain professional, timely, and ethical communication practices in all stakeholder interactions
Qualifications
A degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field (postgraduate studies preferred)
Experience
At least 5 years in a senior internal communications role, ideally within corporate, financial services, or retail sectors
Proven experience influencing senior executives and leading large-scale communications initiatives
Strong ability to drive change and engagement through compelling internal storytelling
Skills & Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced PowerPoint, Word; Basic Excel)
Experience with digital communication tools (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with visual design platforms (e.g., Canva), photography/videography, and internal publishing tools
A strong grasp of branding principles and tone of voice guidelines
Intermediate knowledge of internal digital signage platforms and employee portals a plus
