Job Summary
Are you a qualified Internal Auditor with solid experience within the mining industry? An amazing opportunity has become available just for you!
Requirements:
- Able to travel within South Africa and internationally as required
- Minimum 5 years experience preferably in a large organisation, in the Mining industry
- Willing to be at site going through physical evidence and engaging with employees
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits and providing recommendations for remediation
- Proven experience introducing effective internal controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- You will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient internal audit service to all operations within the business operations.
- You will assist in evaluating if entities are performing their control functions of planning, accounting, custodial and monitoring to the degree expected by management.
- You will also assist in highlighting areas of non-compliance to management and recommending cost effective enhancements to systems and procedures.
