Job Description
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- Relevant professional certification, such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
- Valid Driver's licence
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Internal Auditor, preferably in a large organization, in the Mining Industry
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits and providing recommendations for remediation
- Experience working with multi-cultural organization
- Proven experience introducing effective internal controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- English
- Mandarin
- Computer literate
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures and techniques
- Solid understanding of internal control assessment and evaluation techniques
- Expert knowledge of finance, accounting and audit principles
- Knowledge of South African and Chinese financial laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships across functions and levels of the organization
- Excellent report writing skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to travel within South Africa and internationally as required
- Can handle confidential information sensitively and professionally
- Keen attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
