What You'll Be Doing:
As an Internal Audit Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal audit function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of internal auditors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Developing and executing comprehensive audit plans to evaluate financial and operational controls.
- Identifing and mitigating risks, as well as recommending improvements to enhance processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management to implement audit recommendations.
- Staying current with industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance.
- Overseeing the development of audit strategies that strengthen internal controls.
- Promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
To excel in this leadership role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CIA certification is highly desirable).
- Extensive experience in internal auditing, including leadership roles.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and auditing standards.
- The ability to manage and mentor a team of audit professionals.
