We're hiring for a Research Associate Intern.

Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.

As Research Associate Intern you will be responsible for assisting with most aspects of seed production & data delivery. You will form part of the day-to-day tasks that are related to both functions.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team

The African Plant Breeding Research and Development team innovatively develops hybrid seed product to serve African producers and consumers.

Your Challenge:

  • Deploying new methodology to execute high quality experiments.
  • Managing productivity and driving results on various experiments in multiple crops.
  • Contributing directly to the improved efficiency of research operations.
  • Contribute to site operational planning and delivery of overall site goals.
Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

Research Scientists, Operations Lead, Experiment Owners, Nursery Location Manager, Phenotyping Lead, EHS Contact, Agronomy Lead.

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture or related field, Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Crop production or related field.
  • Demonstrate ability to execute high quality field experiments.
  • Valid South African Code B driver's license required.
  • Must be customer-service focused with solid organizational and planning skills.
