The teacher will create lesson plans, deliver instruction, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment for all Grade 4 subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the shift from Foundation Phase to Intermediate Phase in a nurturing/age appropriate manner.

Create a nurturing learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth

Student-centred approach: Prioritise student development by creating an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking

Lesson Planning and Delivery

Classroom Management

Assessment and Evaluation

Prepare accurate progress reports and maintain records, including attendance and assessments

Collaboration

Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for building positive relationships with staff, students, and parents

Curriculum Development

Extracurricular Involvement

Qualifications and requirements

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor's Degree + PGCE appropriate to intermediate and senior phase.

Intermediate phase classroom experience

English Language proficiency

Knowledge of the latest educational trends

Permanent SACE certificate

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to integrate critical thinking and information literacy into lessons.
