Our client is a US based, private equity group iwth operation focused int eh cloud ocmputing industry, with a remote finance team. MacMillan Mzansi Accountancy is proud to provide a global stage for South African talent with most clients being based in either Canada or the United States.

The Role: Intermediate Accountant

? Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring correct coding, flow through required approvals, and complete records

? Maintain vendor records, reconcile vendor statements, and respond to vendor inquiries

? Support accounts receivable tasks including preparing & sending customer invoices, applying payments, and ensuring timely collections

? Assist with monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, AP, AR, and other general ledger accounts

? Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

? Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls

? Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Accountant and Controller as needed

? Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

? 1-3 years of accounting experience, AP experience desirable

? Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment is an asset

? Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles

? Proficiency with accounting software and intermediate to advanced Excel skills

? High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills

? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

? Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks

? High degree of professionalism, accuracy, and reliability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R250000,00 - R400000,00 per year
