Role Overview
We are looking for a visionary and technically strong Solution Architect to lead the design of Intelligent Hyper Automation (IHA) solutions across a multi-disciplinary digital transformation programme. This role requires deep experience in Azure Cloud, automation technologies, and emerging tech such as AI and GenAI. As the IHA Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end technical vision and solution architecture across automation domains -- including conversational AI, RPA, decision automation, workflow orchestration, event-driven design, and integration with GenAI models. You will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, platform, security, data, and business teams to shape scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Leadership
o Lead the design of IHA solutions across multiple automation technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals. o Define scalable and reusable architecture patterns across RPA, conversational AI, decisioning engines, API orchestration, and agentic workflows. o Incorporate emerging GenAI capabilities (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, embedding models, prompt engineering frameworks) into automation solutions.
Azure Platform Integration
o Design solutions using Azure-native services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI. o Ensure automation solutions are cloud-optimised, secure, and align with the organisation's Azure architecture and DevOps standards.
Technical Governance & Design Authority
o Serve as a key decision-maker and design authority on IHA solution architecture across projects and workstreams. o Facilitate design reviews, architecture forums, and technical validation processes. o Guide solutioning from concept to implementation, including PoCs, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps.
Innovation & Emerging Tech Advisory
o Stay ahead of the curve on advancements in AI, GenAI, intelligent agents, orchestration platforms, and automation tools. o Advise on the applicability and value of new technologies in enhancing automation capabilities and customer/employee experiences.
Stakeholder Collaboration
o Work closely with business analysts, product owners, engineers, data scientists, and security teams to ensure solutions are robust, compliant, and value-aligned. o Translate business requirements and use cases into architecture designs, ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Key Requirements
8-12+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise technology design roles.
Deep hands-on experience in designing solutions using:
o Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Azure AI/ML Services, OpenAI)
o RPA platforms (e.g. Power Automate, UiPath)
o Workflow tools, BPM, and integration technologies.
Solid understanding of GenAI use cases, architecture integration, model selection (e.g., GPT-4,
Codex), and prompt-based systems.
Experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and API-first design principles.
Familiarity with enterprise-grade security, data privacy, and compliance frameworks (e.g., in
banking or financial services).
Ability to present technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders with clarity and impact.
Preferred Qualifications
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related technical discipline. o Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305 - Architect Design, AZ-400 - DevOps Engineer). o Certification or deep exposure to GenAI platforms (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain). o Experience working in financial services or other regulated enterprise environments
