Instrumentation Technician
Job Description
Are you a proficient Instrumentation Technician looking to join a vibrant team in Mpumalanga? Our client, a leading service provider in various South African sectors, including mining, FMCG, and municipal services, is seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Instrumentation Technician to join their team.
In this role youll be responsible for testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, and the inspection of monitoring control and instrumentation devices. Youll also provide support for PLC and SCADA fault finding, calibrate temperature, pressure, flow, or other instrument characteristics.
Instrument parts are what youll assemble, disassemble and test and maintain, repair and troubleshoot, too. Youll also audit and manage spare parts inventory and maintain the documentation related to instruments.
With your technical expertise, youll offer sage advice on equipment and machine maintenance.
Do you have a minimum N3 or NCV Level 4 qualification? Are you trade tested in Controls and Instrumentation, or similar? Do you have 3 years post-trade test experience, preferably in water treatment operations, and experience with Siemens PLCs and SCADA?
