The required candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, service, repairs and calibration of autoclaves and general laboratory equipment. In addition, design related skills will be necessary for assisting with some marketing material. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' technical needs.

Responsibilities

Equipment / instrument technician to work on autoclaves and general laboratory equipment.

Perform services, calibration, diagnostics and repairs on customers equipment.

Installation and commissioning of instrumentation.

Update service / maintenance records and ensure preventative maintenance is performed on time.

Technical sales.

Write user manuals as well as IQ/OQ/PQ qualification documents for equipment.

Certificate review for calibration.

Product brochure design with technical specifications review.

Laser engraving of data plates etc.

Technician will spend time on the road visiting customers.

Practice and adhere to all safety and training.

Qualifications

Minimum of

3 - 5 years

of work experience at a

single company.

Understanding both electrical and mechanical basics is critical.

National Diploma in electrical or mechanical backgrounds will be beneficial.

Proficient in MS Office tools.

Understanding of design programs such as Corel Draw and CANVA.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Three years' experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment.

Own transport to and from work

A valid driver's license and passport are required.

Pay: R16500,00 - R28000,00 per month
